Longterm lease/rental
I'm currently living in Bali on a retirement KITAS and renting a villa in Legian until March 2010 when my lease expires. My friend and her 12 yr old son will be joining me early in the new year, so my accommodation requirements will change.
From March onwards, I'm looking for a 1-year lease (preferably renewable for at least one more year). My wish list is:
a) either 2 villas in very close proximity, one 2BR, with pool and reasonable living area PLUS one large 3BR, with large semi-sheltered living area, pool and large garden/lawn area;
OR
b) a large 5BR+ property with plenty of room to move, pool, large grounds with garden.
Style: Bali modern, luxury
Facilities: All BR A/C, ensuite bathrooms. WiFi desired. Cable (or provision to connect) essential.
Maid's room (if the larger property) advantageous, but not essential.
Location: Seminyak (Oberoi side), Petitenget, Batu Belig - even Berawa or Umalas (if close to Jl. Batu Belig) at a pinch. Needs to be close to the gastronomic delights of Jl. Laksmana and/or reasonable shopping ...
Price: Negotiable
Starting date: First week of March at the latest, earlier if the property is too good to miss and is available.
OK - most villas I have seen in my preferred area are for short-term vacation rental, so I'm under no illusions as to the easy availability of something like this for the longterm. But if you don't ask, the answer's always no, isn't it ... ;-)
