We recently had the chance to stay at the Amertha Villas in Pemuteran. Pemuteran is not a destination often associated with villa accommodations and indeed the arrival of villas in this area of Bali is fairly new. The area is more typically associated with backpacker type accommodations and mid-priced resort properties, all catering to the snorkeling and diving crowd that flock to Menjangan Island. From what we can see, with the notable exception of the long-standing luxury property Puri Ganesha, operators in the region are still struggling with the concept.

Since the launch of the site earlier this year, we've seen a dramatic increase in the number of questions we receive from site visitors. The questions most frequently ask us for recommendations of properties, or sometimes for information about a specific property.

While we try to answer them all to the best of our ability, our knowledge is miniscule compared to the knowledge of the community of users of this site. Accordingly, in an effort to help leverage that community knowledge to the benefit of all, we've opened a Discussion Forum on this website.

The Bali villa forum is a simple discussion board that lets you post questions or comments or respond to others. We encourage you to visit and share what you know about Bali villas. We're provided areas for Agents as well and we do welcome people to post links to their properties / agencies.
